Simplify. Release. Let go.
What is really important and non-negotiable for being your authentic self? Do not obey what others try to get you to do if your intuition says something totally different.
Connect with nature. Turn off your computer and read. Do what you love, not what you think you should do. Unplug and minimize distractions.
Listen to live music at your local bar or pub in the soft and warm candlelight, instead of having your dinner with your computer.
Confess that you are tired, and give up obligations; dedicate a day to a retreat just for you to load your batteries.
You probably won’t miss the time that you didn’t spend with technology but most likely you will miss the experiences, feelings, emotions, people, crisp fall air in your lungs, energy circulating in your body after a long walk, stars in the night sky, stillness in your mind and around you.
Watching the sun rising after being awake the whole night. The universe constantly expanding around you.
Your voice is powerful, sometimes it just gets buried under all the clutter and distractions. You can be tempted to do things in the same way as everyone else is doing because you have the false sense of feeling that only then you get noticed.
Maybe you think that you have tried to follow your own voice, doing things differently, in a simpler way, but truthfully you have been afraid that it doesn’t take you anywhere and are almost willing to give up.
Don’t lose your voice, your fresh ideas and don’t be scared of doing things in a simpler way, or differently than other people do if it makes sense to you and serves your energy, keeps you creating, and moves you forward. Don’t feel the need to hurry, even if everyone else around you seem to be in a rush.
No-one else can walk your path, and you shouldn't take paths that are not good for you, or in your best interests.
Don’t let that voice be silenced and become a copy of something else by trying to imitate. No two voices are alike. Take your time, and find your place of peace in every day.
Love the journey instead of the end result. Trust. Be you.
